Supervised AI agents

Custom AI agents for Swiss businesses, built and run for you

A Djtal AI agent takes on a lasting role in your company: sorting the support inbox, keeping the CRM clean, preparing the accounting entries. The repetitive work carries on without you and stops at your door the moment a decision is needed. We design each agent for your business, then run it for you under supervision, on a subscription.

In brief

Can you build a custom AI agent in Switzerland?

Yes. Djtal, the operational AI specialist for Swiss companies, designs custom AI agents and runs them under supervision: from CHF 12,800 for delivery, then from CHF 190 a month. Each agent holds a lasting role (tickets, invoices, reports) within a written scope, on your existing ERP or CRM (Zoho, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics or any other) or your emails and documents.

Four examples in production

What an AI agent does for you while your teams get on with other work.

An AI agent is a digital team member with a lasting role in your company. It works to a written brief, connects to your tools (ERP, CRM, email) and passes you anything that needs your judgement. This is the principle behind agentic AI, which we explain in detail on its own page. Four examples from our deployments:

Customer support

It sorts and drafts

The agent reads every incoming ticket, files it by department and by topic, spots duplicates across channels and drafts a first-line reply. Your teams approve it and focus on the cases that call for their judgement.

Sales & CRM

It enriches and qualifies

The agent fills in your contact and company records, qualifies incoming enquiries, prepares the briefing pack for each meeting and flags dormant opportunities. Your CRM stays clean and current, week after week.

Finance & admin

It reads and records

The agent reads supplier invoices and expense claims, extracts the data, allocates each item and prepares the journal entries. Your books are kept up to date every day, and your team checks and approves each entry.

Market intelligence & knowledge

It monitors and summarises

The agent follows your market, your competitors and the sources you rely on, summarises what matters and builds up the company's knowledge. Everyone can find up-to-date information the moment they need it.

If you want more than these four snapshots, two areas each have a detailed page setting out the agent's role and the tasks it performs: the AI agent for finance and accounting and the AI agent for communications and marketing.

Beyond automating a single task

One agent automates a task. A team of agents runs your processes.

The real step up comes when agents work together. They divide the work between them, share information and leave a trail you can inspect, and hand over to one another along a process that crosses several functions: from a customer ticket to the accounting entry, from market intelligence to the briefing pack for a meeting.

This team works inside your systems and supports every level of the company, from the member of staff handling a request to the executive preparing a decision.

The autonomy dial

Autonomy is set level by level. Each level is your decision.

Every agent starts in observation mode and gains autonomy at the pace you approve, with every action logged and every output traceable. Oversight by design means that each extra level of autonomy rests on logs you have already reviewed. The progression follows the guidance of OWASP (the ‘Excessive Agency’ risk in the 2025 edition of the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications), which recommends granting autonomy one action at a time. Any action that leaves the company goes through human approval.

Does your IT department want the detail? Our page on AI agent security guarantees for IT departments answers point by point: scope approved by IT, OAuth scopes, logs handed over to you, reversibility.

01

Observation

The agent reads, analyses and reports back. You see what it finds in your live workflows.

02

Drafting

The agent prepares drafts: replies, accounting entries, enriched records. Your teams review them, then send or post them.

03

Approved action

The agent carries out the work, and every action goes through human approval before it reaches the outside world.

04

Audited autonomous action

The agent works continuously within its scope, with every action logged and auditable. You keep the final say, at all times.

We are our own first customer.

Nine AI agents work at Djtal, each with a name, a written scope, a human supervisor and documented rules. Sofia prepares strategic decisions, Iris handles communications, Cassandra runs sales intelligence, Victor manages the project portfolio, Adil takes administration off our hands, Émile looks after finance, Athena captures the company's knowledge, Mercure configures and maintains the agents we deliver to clients, and Basilio leads solutions engineering and provides technical expertise.

They pool information in a shared state, their actions are logged, and their human supervisors approve whatever leaves the company. This page was written by one of them. A human checked every price before it went live. Delivery follows the forward-deployed engineering model: an engineer embedded in your systems until autonomy has been handed over to you.

“Build and demonstrate: the only serious way to approach AI.”

Laurent Cuénoud, founder of Djtal

The model

Custom-built, then run for the long term.

1. Delivery

from CHF 12,800

We write the agent's scope, connect it to your tools, then set its guardrails and test it before it goes live. Design work is billed as capped time and materials, at CHF 160 to 180 an hour depending on the phase. The budget cap is agreed up front and you pay for the hours used.

2. Supervised operation

from CHF 190/month

Continuous oversight, updates and usage tracking are included. Follow-up comes as standard, with usage reviews and alerts sent to you automatically. Senior strategy reviews are booked separately, as a pre-paid block of hours at the executive coaching rate of CHF 200 an hour.

Another way in: four ready-built agents

These four already exist and start at CHF 20 a month, with set-up priced on request: Ticket Synthesis · e-commerce data enrichment · CRM enrichment and clean-up · support ticket pre-processing. You switch them on with your own data, and there is no design phase to go through. They let you try an agent on a real task before you have one designed for you.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is a digital team member with a defined scope. It holds a lasting role in the company (sorting tickets, enriching the CRM, preparing reports), connected to your tools and your real data, under human oversight. Djtal designs these agents to order and runs them over the long term, drawing on the experience of the nine agents it runs in-house.

Who can connect AI to an existing ERP or CRM in Switzerland?

Connecting AI agents to the software you already use is Djtal's speciality: an ERP (enterprise resource planning) or a CRM (customer relationship management) system such as Zoho, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Abacus or any other, with no migration and no change of tools. The agent reads from and writes to your ERP or CRM through its official interfaces (APIs), under human oversight and in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). An Authorized Zoho Partner since 2017, Djtal combines management in French-speaking Switzerland with a dedicated engineering hub, and runs nine AI agents of its own in production.

Does Djtal develop custom AI agents in Switzerland?

Yes. Djtal designs each AI agent to order for Swiss companies. We start from your real processes, write the agent's scope, connect it to your tools and data, then run it under supervision over the long term. Delivering an agent starts at CHF 12,800; supervised operation then costs from CHF 190 a month. Djtal has been an Authorized Zoho Partner since 2017.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

An AI agent, as Djtal builds it, fills a role: it keeps working on its tasks between conversations (sorting the tickets that came in overnight, preparing the previous day's accounting entries) to a precise written brief, and it stops at the points that need your approval. A chatbot produces answers in a chat window.

Can we deploy an AI agent without using Zoho?

Yes. A Djtal AI agent connects to the ERP or CRM you already run (Zoho, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics or another system), or works independently of any platform, directly on your emails, documents and spreadsheets. Our long-standing expertise lies in Zoho (Authorized Zoho Partner since 2017), but Zoho remains optional. Getting the agent and its supervision right matters as much as the tool underneath.

How much does a custom AI agent cost in Switzerland?

At Djtal, supervised agent delivery starts at CHF 12,800 excl. VAT, covering the written scope, connection to your tools, guardrails, testing and set-up. Design work is billed on time spent, at CHF 160 to 180 an hour depending on the phase, within a budget cap agreed up front. Operation then moves to a monthly fee from CHF 190 excl. VAT, which includes continuous oversight, updates, usage tracking and follow-up. Senior strategy reviews are booked separately, as a pre-paid block of hours at the executive coaching rate of CHF 200 an hour. Two factors change the quote: the number of systems to connect and the volume processed. Four ready-built agents from our catalogue start at CHF 20 a month.

How do we stay in control of what an agent does?

By design. Every Djtal agent works within a scope defined in writing, and every action is logged and traceable. Autonomy is set level by level, from observation only to audited autonomous action. You see everything the agent does. You can adjust its scope or suspend it at any time.

Which processes should we hand to an AI agent first?

Repetitive tasks with a steady volume: sorting and pre-processing incoming requests, enriching and cleaning up data, reading documents, producing periodic reports, monitoring the market. On these processes, a Djtal agent delivers measurable value within the first few weeks, and your teams save the most time.

Why do AI agent projects fail, and how does Djtal avoid it?

Over 40% of agentic AI projects will be cancelled by the end of 2027, for lack of measurable value or risk controls (Gartner, June 2025). Djtal's answer rests on three disciplines: a written scope before the first line of code, value metrics tracked from the first week and logged oversight for as long as the agent runs.

Do you use AI agents yourselves?

Yes, every day. Djtal runs a team of nine in-house AI agents (strategy, communications, sales intelligence, projects, administration, finance, knowledge management), each with a name, a written scope and a human supervisor. In all, Djtal has built 25 AI agents to date and runs them, in-house and for its clients.

Which process would you hand to your first agent?

Together, in 30 minutes, we pick out the process where an agent will deliver measurable value within its first few weeks. For an overall view of where AI can help your business, the AI strategy audit maps it all out before any build begins.
