Sales automation

Sales automation, from prospecting to invoicing

Marketing, sales, quotes, invoicing and customer service run as one connected process, where your current tools finally talk to each other. Data flows from end to end and AI takes on the repetitive work. You keep sight of your revenue.

In brief

What is sales automation?

Sales automation is a single connected process from marketing to invoicing, so data is entered once and no prospect is lost. Djtal, the operational AI specialist for Swiss companies, orchestrates it on Zoho and augments it with AI: each step triggers the next. Management keeps a real-time overview.

The situation

Between marketing and the invoice, data gets lost.

A prospect arrives through the website, is copied into a spreadsheet, forgotten, then found too late. A deal closes, yet the invoice is re-keyed by hand. Customer follow-up stops at the signature. At every hand-off between two tools, you lose time, information and revenue. Sales automation closes these gaps.

End to end

Five steps, one data flow.

01

Attract

Marketing and communications

Campaigns, social media and website forms feed every inbound contact straight into the CRM, qualified and tracked. No prospect sits in an inbox overnight.

Campaigns · Social · Forms · Sites

02

Qualify

Sales

AI-assisted lead scoring, opportunity prioritisation and pipeline tracking tell your sales team who to call back first, and why.

CRM · SalesIQ · Zia

03

Convert

Quotes and signature

Quotes are generated from Books and signed electronically. Outstanding quotes are chased automatically, so nobody has to remember.

Books · Sign

04

Invoice

Accounting

A won deal turns into an invoice without re-keying. Data passes from the CRM to the accounting system, and payments and reconciliation are tracked automatically.

Books · Checkout

05

Retain

Customer service

Support, satisfaction and spotting expansion opportunities. Customers are still looked after once the deal is signed, which is where recurring revenue is won.

Desk · Surveys

What you gain

Less data entry, more control.

Zero duplicate data entry

Data entered once flows from the first contact to the invoice. Copying between tools disappears.

Every prospect followed up

Every inbound contact is captured, qualified and chased up automatically. The system holds every follow-up date and sends the reminder itself.

An overall view

From marketing to payment, your indicators are consolidated, so you can see your whole order book on one screen.

Frequently asked questions

Before you automate your sales process.

What does sales automation cover?

Sales automation covers five connected steps: attract (campaigns, social media and forms feed the CRM directly), qualify (scoring and prioritisation of opportunities), convert (quotes and electronic signature), invoice (a won deal becomes an invoice without re-keying) and retain (support and spotting expansion opportunities). At Djtal, this process relies on the Zoho suite (Campaigns, CRM, Books, Sign, Desk).

Do we need to change CRM to automate our sales process?

You keep your current CRM. If you already use Zoho, Djtal activates the process within your existing Zoho environment. On another CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics), the usual gaps in a sales process (a lost contact, an invoice re-keyed by hand, follow-up that stops at the signature) are closed through integration. The initial audit starts from your existing ecosystem.

What role does AI play in sales automation?

AI takes on the repetitive work and prepares the ground for decisions. It scores opportunities (Zia in Zoho CRM), prioritises follow-ups, qualifies inbound enquiries and summarises the account before a meeting. Actions that commit the company (an offer, a price, anything sent out) stay subject to human approval.

How much does sales automation cost in Switzerland?

With Djtal, the starting point is a half-day initial audit at CHF 800 excl. VAT. It identifies the gaps between marketing, sales, invoicing and service, then quantifies what they cost you. The set-up budget then depends on the agreed scope and is quoted before any work begins.

Where does your sales process lose value?

In half a day, we trace where a lead, a quote or an invoice slips between two tools and put a figure on each gap. The audit costs CHF 800, and the decision to go further stays yours.
