In brief

Can you add an AI agent to an existing Dynamics 365?

Djtal, the operational AI specialist for Swiss companies, connects AI agents to your existing Microsoft Dynamics 365. An AI agent here is software that carries out tasks inside Dynamics under your supervision. It works with the model of your choice (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) through the official Dynamics 365 MCP server, next to Copilot or in its place.

What we do

AI and agents on top of the Dynamics you already run.

Your company already runs on Microsoft (Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure). Our job is to get more operational value from what you have paid for, by adding AI agents.

Connecting AI agents

Operational AI agents connected to your Dynamics modules (Sales, Customer Service, Business Central): qualification, drafting, summaries, updates.

At the core of our work, AI acts inside your Dynamics, under supervision.

Integration and connectivity

Connecting Dynamics to the rest of your ecosystem: Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Power Platform, Swiss e-banking and line-of-business APIs.

Fifteen engineers in Tunisia and one specialist in Switzerland provide our Dynamics expertise.

Configuration and customisation

Adapting Dynamics to your processes: fields, views, workflows, Power Apps and Power Automate automations.

We go beyond the standard set-up and shape your Dynamics around the way you work.

Swiss localisation

QR-bill, 8.1% Swiss VAT, ISO 20022 standards and swissdec-compliant Swiss payroll, delivered through a certified extension.

The set-up that makes Dynamics usable day to day for a Swiss company.

Model-agnostic agent vs Copilot

Copilot or a model-agnostic AI agent? Both have their place.

Copilot is Microsoft's native AI and makes sense if you work entirely within the Microsoft ecosystem. Operational AI reaches beyond the catalogue of your ERP vendor. Here is the difference, point by point.

 Microsoft CopilotDjtal model-agnostic agent
AI modelFixed Microsoft and OpenAI modelsYour choice (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), to suit each use case
BillingPaid per-user add-on plus Copilot Studio creditsPriced per project, whatever the number of seats, within the budget you set
ScopeThe Microsoft ecosystemYour existing Dynamics plus the rest of your tools
GovernanceMicrosoft frameworkAction limits and human-in-the-loop checkpoints that you set

Copilot pricing changes regularly (it is a paid per-user module), so we cost it with you when we scope the project.

AI agents on Dynamics

Operational AI agents inside your existing Dynamics.

Lead qualification

The agent enriches opportunities, gathers information and pre-fills fields, within the limits you set.

Drafting and summaries

Emails, meeting notes and opportunity summaries generated from your Dynamics data, in your tone.

Dedicated business agents

Customer service, purchasing, finance: agents that work on your data under strict rules and supervision.

Connected through the official MCP server

Microsoft documents how to connect third-party assistants (Claude, ChatGPT) to Dynamics 365. We configure that connection and set its guardrails.

Connecting third-party assistants to Dynamics 365 is an official route, which Microsoft documents through its MCP server for Dynamics 365 Sales. We set it up and define its security, scope and governance.

Our stance

Independent, even if that means advising against Dynamics.

On Dynamics, we bring independence: a model-agnostic, governed agent on the system you already run. Before you commit, we tell you which agent features on Dynamics work today and which are oversold.

Depending on your context, we will tell you when Zoho or Odoo would suit you better than Dynamics, and why.

Frequently asked questions

Dynamics, Copilot and the FADP: common questions.

Can you add an AI agent to an existing Microsoft Dynamics 365?
Yes. You keep your current system, and Djtal connects operational AI agents to your existing Dynamics 365 (Sales, Customer Service, Business Central), linked to your modules and your data. The agents carry out tasks (lead qualification, drafting, summaries, updates) under supervision and at the level of autonomy you set.
Is Microsoft Copilot mandatory for AI in Dynamics?
No. Copilot is Microsoft's native AI. It is useful if you work entirely within the Microsoft ecosystem, but it is a paid per-user module with fixed models. Djtal sets up a model-agnostic layer of AI agents alongside it, using the model best suited to the job (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini), connected to your Dynamics and governed by your rules. You keep the choice of AI provider.
Can you use Claude or ChatGPT on Dynamics 365?
Yes, and it is now an official route. Microsoft documents an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects third-party assistants, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to Dynamics 365 so that they can act on your data (searching for leads, drafting emails, qualifying opportunities). Djtal sets up this connection, with its guardrails.
Where is Dynamics 365 data hosted for a Swiss company under the FADP?
Dynamics 365 is a Microsoft cloud service. Microsoft operates data centres in Switzerland (Zurich and Geneva) and offers a European (EU/EFTA) data residency boundary. Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the governance question therefore comes down to three points: extraterritorial jurisdiction (the US CLOUD Act), reliance on a single AI provider and the limits on what agents may do. Djtal scopes these three points with you.
How long does it take to set up AI agents on Dynamics?
A first agent on a clearly scoped area, with one use case such as lead qualification, takes a few weeks. A wider rollout across several modules and processes takes a few months. Djtal works in validated phases with checkpoints, so that you stay in control of the pace and the budget.
Is Djtal an official Microsoft Dynamics partner?
Djtal's Dynamics expertise is broad and deep, carried by its engineering team in Tunisia and its specialist in Switzerland, and it adds agentic AI and integrations on top of the Dynamics you already run. Two things to know before going further: you buy your licences through your usual Microsoft channel, and this expertise is delivered outside Microsoft's certified partner programme. Djtal sells the set-up.

A first AI agent on your Dynamics.

In a short call, we review your Dynamics modules with you (Sales, Customer Service, Business Central) and name the first agent worth building, or tell you that none is yet. No commitment.
