Executive AI coaching to decide, budget and plan

Djtal designed this AI coaching for the executives of Swiss companies. Two-hour sessions take place in person, one-to-one or with your small leadership team. You come away with an action plan built together and your own view of your company's direction on AI.

In brief

What do you gain from executive AI coaching?

Executive AI coaching from Djtal, the operational AI specialist for Swiss companies, helps CEOs, COOs, CDOs and leadership teams decide, budget, build the roadmap and defend the return on AI. Two-hour sessions cost CHF 200 an hour excluding VAT, from a pre-paid block of hours. No technical background is required, and you set the pace.

AI is coming fast. Executives have to make it their own if they are to set the course.

Executive AI coaching is a series of face-to-face working sessions in which the executive gradually builds their own view of the subject and the decisions that follow from it.

Training passes on content. An audit delivers a diagnosis and a plan. Coaching shapes your judgement on your company's AI trajectory, and that judgement will then steer every other choice.

Why executive AI coaching

Four questions your role requires you to own personally.

01

Making informed decisions.

Separate the signal from the media noise. Understand what AI changes in your line of business, in your processes and in your margins. Then make the call with a clear head, even as suppliers and the business press push you to decide quickly.

02

Allocating the AI budget wisely.

Distinguish the investments that pay back quickly from those that demand a deep transformation. Frame the annual budget, negotiate the contracts and avoid the usual pitfalls (unnecessary licences, dead-end proofs of concept and unhealthy dependence on suppliers).

03

Building a roadmap that holds up.

Sequence the work with data first, useful automations next and AI agents once the foundations are sound. Build a realistic timetable for your leadership team and your operational teams.

04

Defending your ROI before the board.

Build the case, backed by figures and by qualitative evidence, that your board of directors or your shareholders expect. Anticipate the hard questions. Come across as an executive in command of the subject, which matters all the more when 79% of board members report limited or no knowledge of AI (Deloitte, 2025).

Why Laurent · why Djtal

Five strands of experience that come together and make the difference with AI.

This mix of experience (physics, entrepreneurial leadership, 30 years in IT, Zoho expertise, operational AI every day) is unusual in French-speaking Switzerland. Our executive coaching is built on it.

  1. 01

    A long familiarity with AI.

Laurent Cuénoud has been programming since the age of 12 (1982) and first beat his Chess Challenger computer at chess in 1984, long before the consumer wave of 2023. That familiarity has built up layer by layer, and it helps him tell what is new from what comes round in cycles.

  2. 02

    A grounding in physics.

Physics teaches systems thinking, the analysis of models and an eye for side effects. It trains you to see complex systems as they are.

  3. 03

    Serial entrepreneur and business leader.

Laurent understands AI from the decision-maker's point of view: budget allocation, team management, supplier negotiation, defence before a board. He speaks your language because he has spoken it himself.

  4. 04

    Zoho, Creator and MCP expertise.

Laurent builds inside the Zoho ecosystem. Zoho's tools, development on Creator and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) give him a hands-on technical base, so he can approach AI topics in practical terms.

  5. 05

Thirty years of hands-on ERP, CRM, data and automation.

For three decades, Laurent has fitted technology into workflows that already exist and already work. AI has to be built into what is already there, and what is already there has its own rules. He knows them.

This background explains why Laurent can hold his own in a conversation about AI with an executive who expects depth.

The format

A flexible format, designed around an executive's diary.

Session format
Two-hour sessions that fit easily into an executive's diary.
Number of sessions
There are usually two or three sessions, and the number is adjusted to your situation.
Location
Preferably in person at your premises, because meeting face to face builds the relationship and trust and makes communication easier. A video call is possible when geography requires it.
Set-up
Sessions are ideally one-to-one with the executive, or with a small leadership team (two to five people).
Commercial model
You buy a pre-paid block of hours and draw on it as needed; it is flexible and renewable. You pay for the hours you use.
Typical initial pack
As a guide, 6 hours (three 2-hour sessions), adjustable to your priorities. It puts the working relationship, the terms and conditions, and confidentiality on a formal footing.

What you take away

An operational action plan, built together, that keeps evolving and belongs to you.

Most of what coaching delivers is intangible. What takes shape in the sessions then lives on in your decisions, your leadership meetings and your budget choices.

  1. 01

An operational action plan, built together.

We put the plan together with you, session by session, around your own issues, so you are as much its author as its recipient.

  2. 02

    Realisations that change your decisions.

You get a clear view of the grey areas, such as the illusions of the moment, unrealistic expectations and the blind spots in the prevailing narrative. Conversely, you learn to spot the opportunities that the people around you miss.

  3. 03

    Strategic decisions, settled.

You leave the sessions with your choices made. The defining calls on budget, scope, timetable and partners are signed off.

  4. 04

Building your authority as a leader on AI.

You build the vocabulary, the reference points and the habits for a subject your role requires you to master. You get there faster, with fewer moments of discomfort.

Who it is for

Designed for the top of your organisation.

CEO, COO, CDO and general management.

You are responsible for your company's direction on AI. You need an interlocutor who is demanding yet supportive, and who will tell you where today's AI reaches its limits.

A leadership team of two to five people.

You want your leadership team to share one view of AI, to surface the right questions together and to reach collective decisions faster.

Swiss companies with 20 to 250 employees.

At this size, an AI decision shows its effects quickly. The company is large enough for the stakes to matter and nimble enough to act.

Price and commercial model

CHF 200/hour

excl. VAT · 8.1% VAT added · pre-paid block of hours

  • A pre-paid block of hours, flexible and renewable, that you draw on as needed.
  • You pay only for the hours you use. The initial pack puts the working relationship, the terms and conditions, and confidentiality on a formal footing.

The questions this coaching answers

How should I approach AI and scope a project for my company?

Scoping an AI project for your company is the first question Djtal's executive AI coaching works through with you. Together you work out where to start, what to leave aside, how to move forward in stages and how to run the project while the business carries on as normal. You come away with a scope sized for your company.

Which AI should I choose for my company?

The right choice among ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini and Zia (Zoho's AI) depends on your use cases, your technical environment and where your data is hosted. In the sessions, Djtal assesses the options against your own use cases. It also runs several of these models itself every day, so its recommendation rests on daily use.

How much should we budget for AI, and who should own it internally?

Djtal's coaching frames the annual budget by type of project (AI literacy for your teams, automations, agents) with realistic ballpark figures, and it settles governance, meaning who decides, who runs it and who oversees it. An AI project with no designated internal owner will drift.

Can AI be left to the head of IT?

Leaving AI to the head of IT is a common temptation, and a documented mistake. BCG (2025) states plainly that the CEO is the only role with the authority to align the incentives, processes and responsibilities that AI cuts across. The governance figures confirm it. Only 17% of boards of directors take ownership of AI governance (McKinsey, 2025), while boards that are comfortable with AI show a return on equity 10.9 points above their sector average. Djtal's coaching gives executives the tools to take on this role while staying at the head of the business.

Which providers can help us with AI?

The coaching gives you a reasoned view of the market (integrators, consultancies, trainers, freelancers), with their strengths, their limits and the criteria for choosing between them. Djtal focuses on what it does well and points you elsewhere when that serves you better. It gives its advice first, and any proposal comes after.

How do we turn our teams' individual use of AI into coordinated, company-wide use?

Your employees already use AI, often with no framework. Djtal's coaching sets the strategy, covering rules on data use, the choice of licences and coordinated upskilling. Implementation then becomes an AI integration project, with the indicators agreed before work starts.

What are the risks of AI, and where are the first quick wins?

The real risks are data confidentiality, compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), dependence on a supplier and automated decisions that nobody checks. Typical quick wins are sorting and summarising documents, preparing replies and enriching data. Djtal's coaching ranks both for your specific context.

How much does executive AI coaching cost in Switzerland?

At Djtal, executive AI coaching costs CHF 200 an hour excluding VAT, in two-hour sessions, usually two or three of them, as a pre-paid block of hours drawn on as needed. You pay for the hours you use, with no obligation to continue.

Check with Laurent whether coaching fits the decisions ahead of you.

Before you commit to a block of hours, thirty minutes with Laurent is enough to set out your situation. Together we work out whether AI coaching is the right format for the issues you face now. If it is, we plan the first session. If not, we point you towards what will serve you better.
