A two-week AI strategy audit for business leaders in Switzerland

In two weeks, you will know where your company stands to gain from AI, what to prioritise and what budget to plan for. The report and the two-hour presentation are written for your leadership team. There is no obligation.

In brief

What does an AI strategy audit for business leaders involve?

An AI strategy audit is an assessment that shows business leaders where AI will pay off. At Djtal, the operational AI specialist for Swiss companies, it means three days of analysis (24 hours), three use cases and a 90-day action plan, for CHF 4,800 excl. VAT, no obligation to continue. It starts with your priorities, ERP or no ERP.

You think about AI every day.
Where do you start?

AI is already in use at 34% of Swiss SMEs (AXA/Sotomo, 2025), yet 58% of companies describe the return they get as “basic or non-existent” (Swiss Data & AI Observatory, by Oracle, Colombus Consulting and the HEG school of management, September 2025). A measurable return is still the exception, and that gap is what the audit closes for your company.

The Swiss business leaders we talk to share the same questions:

  • Where can AI help me, in my company and my sector?
  • Which use cases deliver a strong return, and which are just media hype?
  • What does it cost, both up front and on an ongoing basis?
  • Is my data ready? What will it take to bring it up to standard?
  • What are the real risks: confidentiality, the GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), dependency, automated decision-making?
  • What is the month-by-month plan for the next six to twelve months?

These are fair questions, and they share one risk. A poorly scoped AI project can run for months before its effects show. An up-front assessment saves you from discovering the problem once the budget has been spent.

Djtal's AI strategy audit answers these questions for your company, with figures and a plan you can act on.

Our method

Over two weeks, three phases lead to a single summary report for your leadership team.

  1. 1
    Days 1–3

    Scoping and information gathering

    • An opening interview with your leadership team (90 min) covers your challenges, ambitions and constraints.
    • We map your current technical environment (ERP, CRM, tools, data).
    • We review the AI tools and projects already under way (tools your teams have adopted, initiatives launched) and assess how each could be improved.
    • We hold focused interviews with three to five key people (heads of department, IT, operations), on site or by video call.
    • A document review covers your critical operational workflows and known friction points.
  2. 2
    Days 4–7

    Analysis and use case identification

    • We identify three priority AI use cases for your company.
    • For each one, we set out a functional description, the data required, the prerequisites, the expected return, the duration and an investment range.
    • We assess your AI maturity across data, processes, teams and governance.
    • We map the risks (confidentiality, compliance, technical dependencies).
  3. 3
    Days 8–10

    Findings and action plan

    • We write the 90-day action plan, with monthly milestones.
    • We prepare the executive presentation.
    • We present to your leadership team for two hours (in person or by video call), with open discussion and adjustments made in the room.
    • We hand over the final version of the written report.

What you receive

Five deliverables, each one ready to act on.

  1. 01

    AI assessment of your organisation

It assesses your AI readiness and maturity in data, processes, teams and governance, including the AI tools already in use, and sets out your strengths and blind spots.

  2. 02

Three priority use cases in detail

Each one comes with a functional description, prerequisites, expected ROI, the cost of inaction (what each month of waiting costs you), duration and budget.

  3. 03

    90-day action plan

A month-by-month roadmap sets out the milestones, the dependencies and the teams to involve.

  4. 04

    Risk and compliance map

It covers the GDPR, the Swiss FADP and professional secrecy, as they apply to your sector.

  5. 05

    Two-hour executive presentation

We present to your leadership team and answer questions in the room.

The report belongs to you. You can use it with anyone you choose, including another integrator, and you are under no obligation to continue with Djtal. If you do continue with us, the next step takes one of three forms: executive AI coaching, AI integration in five days or a forward-deployed engineer working inside your company.

Frequently asked questions

Who can carry out an AI audit for a Swiss company?

Consulting firms, large audit firms and AI specialists all offer audits, and the deciding factor is the independence of the assessment. Djtal carries out AI strategy audits for Swiss companies with 20 to 250 employees, at published prices (CHF 800 to CHF 8,000 excl. VAT depending on the format) and with no obligation to continue. The report belongs to you, and you can act on it with whomever you choose. Three criteria help you compare providers: a written method (costed use cases, a 90-day action plan), compliance with the Swiss FADP, and an auditor who can carry out the plan afterwards or step aside.

How much does an AI audit cost in Switzerland?

An AI audit in Switzerland costs CHF 800 to CHF 8,000 excl. VAT at Djtal, at published prices depending on the format. The half-day initial audit costs CHF 800 excl. VAT and scopes an initial requirement. The full AI strategy audit costs CHF 4,800 excl. VAT and covers 24 hours of work over two weeks, three priority use cases and a 90-day action plan. The in-depth cross-department audit, at CHF 8,000 excl. VAT for five days (40 hours), suits organisations with 100 to 250 employees. All three come with no obligation to continue, and the report belongs to you.

Why does the audit take only two weeks?

Because you need a decision that is both quick and well founded. Djtal's method fits the work that matters into two weeks. The tight schedule enforces discipline and respects your time, and it lets you start acting on the plan the following month.

Does an AI audit make sense if our ERP or CRM is old, or we don't have one?

Yes, the audit is still relevant. Djtal identifies what has to be in place (sometimes a minimal ERP or CRM) before AI is built into your systems. The plan then sets out the order of the workstreams.

How do you guarantee the confidentiality of our data?

Djtal signs a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before the audit begins. All the data it receives is encrypted and stored in its secure working environments (in Switzerland and Tunisia, under contract). None of your data is used to train a public model.

Why act now, when AI is still changing?

Because the returns go to the companies that prepare. In a PwC survey of 4,454 CEOs (January 2026), 56% had seen neither extra revenue nor lower costs from AI over the previous 12 months, while those who had laid solid foundations were getting three times the returns. Djtal's audit lays those foundations and, for each use case, puts a figure on the cost of inaction (what each month of waiting costs in hours and in Swiss francs). The advantage comes from your teams' learning curve, and climbing it takes months, whenever you start.

Can we ask you to carry out the plan afterwards?

Yes, Djtal can deliver the plan, on a case-by-case basis. If one of the use cases identified falls outside its expertise, Djtal will say so and point you in the right direction.

Do you work with ERP and CRM systems other than Zoho?

Yes. Djtal adapts to your technical environment, be it Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Odoo, HubSpot or Abacus. Its long-standing expertise lies in Zoho (Authorized Zoho Partner since 2017), which remains optional, because Djtal builds on whatever you already have in place.

Are you a large firm?

Djtal is a company from French-speaking Switzerland that serves Swiss businesses. Its team combines senior local expertise (Laurent Cuénoud) with an engineering hub in Tunisia (15 specialist engineers), coordinated by its partner Faisal Al Tayyari. From the first conversation, you deal with a senior interlocutor who understands what is at stake.

How do you differ from a traditional strategy consultancy?

Djtal hands you a plan it can deliver itself, costed and matched to the technical environment you already run. The same teams that ran the audit would deliver the project.

Thirty minutes to find out whether the audit is worth your CHF 4,800.

Before you sign up for an audit, take 30 minutes to talk us through your situation. We'll check together whether the audit makes sense for you. Only then do you decide. If Phase 1 falls short, you get 50% back.
