Behind Djtal lie 30 years in the trade. Laurent worked through the three earlier technology waves, which were the arrival of the internet in business, the turn of the millennium and, in the 2010s, the digitalisation of business processes.
AI is the fourth wave. Like the earlier ones, it begins by seeming complex and out of reach, before becoming a standard that every company will have to adopt. The opportunity is there today for companies that start now, at a steady pace.
Unlike the three before it, AI can be the first wave that everyone shares. It can bring companies closer together by putting the most advanced tools within reach of organisations of every size. That depends on its being led by providers who lived through the earlier waves and learned their lessons.
Djtal was founded for this. Its purpose is to help companies through the fourth wave with the method that worked for the first three (assessment, priority use cases, actionable plan, delivery). It adds the systems thinking needed to anticipate knock-on effects, whose costly damage can stay out of sight for months.
Our ambition at Djtal is that, within a decade, Swiss companies can say that competitiveness and humanity moved forward together and strengthened each other, and that AI, used in its proper place, was one of the tools that made this possible.
